What we offer

Individual psychotherapy

Individual Psychotherapy (Virtual Only)

Individual Psychotherapy
50-minute virtual psychotherapy sessions for teens (ages 13+) and adults.

My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care with a strong emphasis on nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and the mind–body connection. I integrate modalities such as EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, and somatic interventions to support healing from trauma, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and chronic stress.

While my work honors the role of culture, lineage, and lived experience in healing, psychotherapy services remain clinically grounded and distinct from spiritual, ritual, or ancestral offerings.

Rate: $135 per session
Availability: Telehealth only (Texas residents)

A $50 fee applies for no-shows or late cancellations in accordance with practice policy.

Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method (TCYM) — Virtual Offerings

Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method (TCYM) sessions are offered virtually in both one-on-one and group formats. These practices are designed to support nervous system regulation, embodiment, and reconnection with the body in a way that is choice-centered, accessible, and emotionally safe.

TCYM draws from modern trauma research, polyvagal theory, and somatic practices while also honoring the body as a holder of memory, wisdom, and resilience. Sessions may include gentle movement, breathwork, grounding, and guided rest, with invitations rather than directives.

Downward Dog Wellness periodically offers an 8-week TCYM group series, available as a fully virtual experience. Please follow along on social media for current class offerings and registration announcements.

A detailed description of what to expect in a TCYM class is available in the graphics below.

Ritual Oils & Herbal Companions

Ritual oils are offered as supportive, non-clinical tools designed to accompany personal rituals, grounding practices, and intention-setting. These oils draw from ancestral plant wisdom and are crafted to support sensory regulation and emotional grounding.

Ritual oils are not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or a replacement for clinical care, but may be used alongside wellness practices, yoga, meditation, or personal rituals.

Details on available oils and current offerings can be found under the Shop.

Limpias (Energy Cleansing)

A traditional practice for clearing heaviness and restoring balance.

Limpias are a cultural healing practice used to support emotional and energetic release. This process is approached through a trauma-conscious, nervous-system-centered lens, creating a space where you can feel supported, grounded, and safe.

Each limpia is intentional and individualized, with the goal of helping you release what feels heavy and reconnect with a sense of clarity and ease.

What to Expect

  • Platica (Opening + Intention Setting)
We begin by discussing what you’re currently carrying emotionally, mentally, or energetically. Together, we set an intention for the limpia.

  • Preparation of Tools
Traditional elements may be used, such as herbs, an egg limpia, prayer, or other culturally-rooted practices.

  • The Limpia (Cleansing Process)
The cleansing is performed from head to toe using slow, intentional movements. This process is designed to gently clear heaviness, stagnant energy, or overwhelm from the body.

  • Grounding + Integration
After the limpia, we take time to ground the nervous system and allow your body to settle. Some people experience a sense of lightness, emotional release, or deep relaxation.

  • Optional Insight + Aftercare Guidance
If appropriate, we may reflect on what came up during the session. You may also receive recommendations such as baños, oils, or rest practices to support continued integration.

Good to Know

  • This is a complementary, culturally-rooted wellness service and does not replace medical or mental health care.

  • Sessions are offered in a respectful, supportive environment and are always consent-based.

More information and pricing can be found under the Limpia listings on the STORE.
